Inserts
All of our Carmex Mini Tool Inserts are carbide grade: BLU - PVD triple layer coated sub-micron grade for stainless steels, cast iron, titanium, non-ferrous metals, and most high-temperature alloys (M10-M20, K05-K20, N10-N20, S10-S20).
THREADING INSERTS (PARTIAL PROFILE)
A product line of partial-profile threading inserts.
Features:
- Inserts available for 60° and 55° profiles
- Solutions available for pitches from 0.4 mm / 364TPI to 3.0 mm / 8 TPI
- Minimum bore diameter: 8.0 mm / 0.31 inch
THREADING INSERTS (FULL PROFILE)
A product line of full-profile threading inserts. These inserts can only be used to machine internal threads.
Features:
- Inserts available for the ISO and UN profiles
- Solutions available for pitches from 0.5 mm / 32 TPI to 3.0 mm / 8 TPI
- Minimum bore diameter: 8.0 mm / 0.31 inch
CHAMFERING INSERTS
These inserts have been originally developed in order to perform chamfering jobs. Additionally, they can also be used for profiling and general turning applications.
Features:
- Same insert can be used for right-hand and left-hand applications
- Minimum bore diameter: 8.8 mm / 0.35 inch
GROOVING INSERTS
The inserts in this product line were designed for cutting grooves.
Features:
- Minimum bore diameter from: 9.4 mm / 0.37 inch
FULL RADIUS GROOVING INSERTS
A variant of the regular grooving inserts, that produce round (“full radius”) grooves. In addition to the grooving applications, it can also be used for general turning jobs.

BACK TURNING INSERTS
A product line of inserts developed for the purpose of machining back turning jobs. On top of that, the inserts can also be used to complete grooving and profiling applications, as well as general turning applications.

BORING AND PROFILING INSERTS
The inserts of this product line are designed to handle boring and profiling applications. In addition, it is also possible to use them in general turning applications.

Inserts for performing boring, profiling, and facing operations. They can also be used in general turning applications.
