Description
Widin PT-80 Live Centre, Hollow Nose, is a precision live center designed specifically for pipe machining. The hollow nose enables through-spindle capability, making it easier to machine long workpieces such as tubes and pipes with improved alignment and fewer setup steps. This model is offered with Morse tapers, allowing straightforward integration into standard lathes.
- Hollow nose design for through-spindle pipe work: Enables longer workpieces to pass through the center, simplifying setup, improving clearance, and enhancing chip evacuation for cleaner finishes.
- Morse tapers No. 3 and No. 6 compatibility: Broad machine compatibility with quick installation, reducing downtime and fitting a wide range of lathes without custom adapters.
- Optimized performance below 3800 RPM: Engineered for reliable, smooth operation at speeds under 3800 RPM, helping minimize vibration and heat for consistent centering and better surface finishes.
This live center delivers stable, accurate support for pipe-related machining tasks, helping you complete jobs faster with repeatable results. The PT-80 hollow nose design, combined with standard Morse taper options, supports efficient setup, reliable performance, and longer service life in everyday shop environments.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
