Asimeto and Mitutoyo instruments cover most of what a workshop or inspection room needs: digital and vernier calipers, outside and digital micrometers, height gauges, dial test indicators, protractors and depth gauges. Many of the digital models are IP65-rated and switch between metric and imperial.

A caliper measures internal and external dimensions in one tool — digital versions add a readout, vernier versions don't need a battery. A micrometer measures to a tighter tolerance over a smaller range: Mitutoyo's Digimatic and QuantuMike ranges and Asimeto's 105 and 116 series between them cover 0-300mm, some with data output for SPC.

Height gauges and dial test indicators belong on the inspection bench. A height gauge sets and checks vertical dimensions from a datum surface; a dial test indicator picks up small deviations when checking runout or alignment on a mill or lathe.

For thread and hole inspection we stock plug, ring and thread gauges from JBO, Truthread and Asimeto, covering UNC, UNF, UNJF, UNEF, BSP and metric threads. UKAS-accredited and standard traceable calibration certificates are available — see our UKAS calibration certificates collection.

ITP styli are for coordinate measuring machines: straight, star, cylinder, disk and hemispherical probes, plus the adaptors, extensions and adaptor plates that hold them. See our dedicated styli page for the full range.
