Deburring is the step most shops try to skip and most engineers end up doing anyway — because a burr left on a machined part is a sharp edge waiting to cause injury or a dimension waiting to cause a mating problem. Hand deburring tools are the practical fix for what CNC leaves behind: the entry and exit edge of every drilled hole, the corners of every milled pocket, the parted-off face of a turned component.
We stock hand deburring tools with swivel-blade heads that follow an edge automatically without re-gripping, fixed scrapers for flat surfaces and internal bores, and countersink-style burrs for hole entry chamfering by hand. Replacement blades are stocked for the most common handles, so you don’t have to replace the whole tool when the blade wears out.
All held in UK stock. Order before 4pm and it ships same day.
Which deburring tool do I need?
Swivel-blade deburring tools handle the majority of edge-deburring jobs — they follow contours, work on both straight and curved edges, and cut in both directions. Fixed scrapers give more control on flat faces and internal bores where the swivel head would catch. For hole entries, a countersink deburring tool is faster than either and leaves a clean chamfer in one pass.
