A pull stud threads into the back of a toolholder so the machine's spindle drawbar can grip and pull the holder into the taper. Getting the standard right matters: BT (MAS) studs are cut to a different angle and thread pitch to DIN 69872, JIS B6339 or ISO 7388 studs, and fitting the wrong one can stop the toolholder seating correctly.
Every pull stud in this collection is made by Omega Products. We stock BT (MAS) at 45°, 60° and 90°, plus DIN 69872, JIS B6339 and ISO 7388/2-A and 2-B, in ISO30, ISO40 and ISO50 sizes. Solid studs suit standard toolholders; hollow studs have a through-hole for through-coolant tooling, with or without an O-ring. Machine-specific studs are also listed for Mazak, Hass and Cincinnati machining centres, along with DIN 2080 pull stud adaptors for converting existing toolholders.
