A tap wrench puts the cut under your control. When a machine can't reach the position, or the job needs the sensitivity that hand tapping gives you, this is the right tool for it.

We stock Baer tap wrenches in T-bar and double-ended bar styles, covering chuck capacities from M2 through M40. Each has an adjustable chuck that grips the tap shank squarely — no slip, no wobble — and a knurled grip that delivers enough torque without tiring your hands over a longer run. They work in aluminium, mild steel, stainless, cast iron and most engineering alloys.

Which tap wrench do I need?

Baer wrenches are sized by chuck capacity. For small taps (M2–M10), the T-bar style gives precise control in tight spots. For M12 and above, the double-ended bar wrench gives the extra torque you need without straining your wrist. Check the individual product pages for the exact chuck range of each model.
