CNC turning tools cover the inserts, toolholders and boring bars used on CNC and manual lathes to turn cylindrical parts — external diameters, internal bores, tapers, radii and multi-diameter profiles.
ISO lathe tools. Indexable ISO turning inserts and toolholders follow the standard ISO coding system for insert shape, clearance angle and tolerance, so an insert from one manufacturer can be matched to a compatible holder. We stock ISO inserts, external toolholders and boring bars for internal turning.
Small-part and Swiss turning. Carmex Tiny Tools and Mini Tools cover small-diameter and micro-turning work where standard-size toolholders won't fit. The Swiss Line range is built specifically for Swiss-type lathes, where tooling has to work within a tighter envelope around the guide bushing.
Parting off and grooving. Dedicated parting blades and grooving inserts for separating finished parts from bar stock and cutting external or internal grooves to size.
