The Lockwell Double Station Vice, manufactured by Autowell, is designed to enhance CNC machining efficiency by allowing the simultaneous clamping of two dissimilar workpieces with equal force.
  • Clamping force equalisation: The patented system ensures equal clamping force on two different-sized or shaped workpieces, minimising deflection and lift during machining
  • Anti-lift mechanism: Prevents workpiece deflection and lifting, maintaining machining accuracy
  • Automatic return mechanism: The patented feature facilitates quicker workpiece changes, improving productivity
  • Durable construction: Body made from rigid and tensile ductile iron FCD-60 (80,000 PSI), with slide surfaces flame-hardened to HS65 ° for enhanced durability. The S50C jaw plates are carburized and heat-treated to a hardness of HRC54 degree
  • Chip evacuation design: Unique design provides efficient chip removal during machining
