Description
The Widin Live Centre is a heavy lathe live center with a carbide-tipped point, designed to minimize bite interference during turning. It’s built for engineers, machinists, and serious hobbyists who need dependable support, high-precision results, and long service life.
Featuring sealed bearings and a triplex bearing structure, a hardened shaft rated 58–62 HRC, and exceptionally low runout, it stands up to demanding machining tasks.
- Carbide-tipped tip minimizes bite interference: Reduces bite during cutting, delivering smoother operation, less chatter, and longer tip life even when working tough materials.
- Sealed, upgraded bearings with triplex design: Seals keep cutting oils and debris out while the triple-bearing arrangement provides smoother rotation and extended durability compared with standard NC types.
- Morse taper options No. 3 and No. 6 for flexible mounting: Easily fits a wide range of lathes, ensuring quick setup and secure alignment for reliable performance.
This live centre delivers stable, precise support for your turning operations. Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
