Description
The Widin Live Centre is a heavy-lathe live center with a carbide-tipped tip designed to support turning operations with minimal bite interference. It’s ideal for engineers, machinists, shop fleets, and hobbyists who need stable, precise support for long workpieces and smooth rotation under demanding conditions.
- Carbide-Tipped Tip for Reduced Bite Interference: The carbide tip minimizes bite interference during cutting, delivering smoother cuts and improved surface finish even on challenging stock.
- Sealed Design for Oil and Contaminant Protection: Sealed to prevent the inflow of cutting oils and foreign substances, reducing maintenance needs and extending center life in busy shop environments.
- High-Precision, Durable Construction: Upgraded triplex bearing structure and a hardened shaft (58–62 HRC) provide exceptional rotational accuracy and long service life, with runout as low as 0.00012" (0.003 mm). Morse tapers No. 3 and No. 6 are available for versatile mounting.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
