Round-ended carbide burrs follow a curve without leaving a facet — the shapes to reach for when blending a radius, cleaning up a fillet or working a curved face.

Type D is a plain ball: it drops into a concave radius and cuts in any direction, and it is the most-used shape for blending work. Type E is egg-shaped, covering more surface per pass on a gentle sweep, so it is quicker over a large blend. Type C is a ball nose cylinder, taking a radius into a straight wall in one setup. Type L is a ball nose cone, for the same job where the approach angle is too tight for a cylinder.

Stocked in single, double and aluminium cut depending on shape, from 3mm to 16mm head diameter on 3mm and 6mm shanks.
