OSG Threading Taps Metric Fine A-OIL-Spiral Flute
Powder Metal Right Hand -TiCN Coated - Blind Holes
OSG's metric fine spiral flute tap in an oil-groove version, powder metal with a TiCN coating and cut right hand. The oil groove channels cutting fluid straight to the cutting edge, which helps in deeper blind holes, and the spiral flute itself pulls the chip back up out of the hole rather than pushing it through. Metric fine pitch means more thread engagement in thin sections and better vibration resistance than the coarse default. All held in UK stock.
