When installing a thread insert into a new thread, follow these steps for a smooth process. First, screw the insert onto the installation tool securely. Then, position the adjustable ring to ensure the insert tang is centred precisely in the tang slot. Fix the locking ring in place to maintain stability. Finally, wind the insert in with gentle downward pressure to securely seat it within the new thread. These steps ensure a precise and effective installation for your threaded components.
