Description

The Carmex Thread Turning Internal Insert — 60 Degree Partial — Right Hand (08IRA60BXC) is a triangular laydown insert designed for internal thread turning. Recognized as part of our industry-leading range, this insert provides a practical solution for the majority of thread standards used in today’s machining work, making it a versatile choice for mixed-thread jobs.

Whether you’re a professional machinist, an engineer supporting production, or a hobbyist building precise threaded components, this insert offers reliable performance across a broad range of applications—from basic to demanding tasks.

  • Wide thread-standard coverage: Designed to handle the majority of thread standards in use today, reducing the need for multiple inserts and simplifying tooling planning.
  • 60° geometry for smooth engagement: The 60-degree internal threading geometry promotes stable engagement and a consistent thread form, helping to achieve reliable finishes across a variety of applications.
  • Right-hand, partial internal design: The right-hand orientation and partial insert shape provide flexible access in tight bores and easier setup, improving control and reducing setup time.

Using this insert helps streamline threading workflows by reducing tool changes, delivering dependable thread quality, and supporting efficient production. Its robust design is suited to demanding tasks while maintaining consistent results, helping you meet deadlines and improve overall shop-floor performance.
