Description

The Carmex Thread Turning Internal Insert is a precision tool designed for internal threading tasks. It’s ideal for machine shops, manufacturers, and technicians who need reliable, accurate thread forms with minimal setup. This neutral, stub Acme insert uses a laydown triangular geometry to deliver stable cutting and consistent results across a wide range of thread standards.

As part of Carmex’s industry-leading range of thread turning inserts, it is designed to cover the majority of thread standards in use today, making it a versatile choice for mixed-tool environments—from basic to demanding applications.

  • Broad thread standard compatibility: Designed to handle the majority of thread standards in use today, reducing tool changes and enabling one insert to tackle diverse jobs.
  • Laydown triangular geometry: The laydown design provides stable seating and predictable cutting across materials, helping deliver consistent threading results.
  • Neutral stub Acme internal profile: Optimized for internal threads with a stub Acme profile, delivering reliable, repeatable thread forms across a range of materials and conditions.

By consolidating threading needs into a single, versatile insert, you can streamline tooling, minimize downtime, and achieve consistent internal thread quality across batches—from light-duty to demanding work. Trust Carmex for dependable performance in challenging production environments.
