The jaws accept a range of jaw plates that can be attached to the step jaw, and spare plates are available in soft, smooth hard, prismatic and serrated varieties to match every job. Made from HRc60 ± 2 hardened steel, all working surfaces are ground to a maximum tolerance of +/- 0.02 mm, and the jaws are clamped from the top to ensure stable seating during demanding operations.
