The Gerardi ART650 CompactGRIP self-centering 5-axis machine vise is built for precision and versatility in compact form. Part of the ART650 Series, it combines strong clamping power with a rigid base, optimized for both 5‑axis milling and general applications. With a 123 mm jaw width, 20 micron accuracy and 60 Rockwell hardness, this vise delivers repeatable performance and long service life in demanding environments.
- Wide 123 mm jaw width with reversible jaw plates: Supports a broad range of part sizes and quick changes between small-step (4 mm) and large-step (8 mm) jaw plates for fast, flexible setups.
- High clamping force for secure, repeatable holding: 12 kN clamping force provides a reliable grip across materials, with no stamping or pre-machining required on the workpiece.
- Rigid, durable construction for 5-axis precision: 60 Rockwell case hardened body and 20 micron accuracy ensure consistent results and long life in demanding 5-axis and general machining tasks.
Designed to integrate smoothly with existing tooling and pallet systems, the CompactGRIP offers base length options of 80, 120, and 160 mm to fit your machine footprint. The vise is supplied with 1 jaw plate, positioning keys, a work stop, and wrenches to speed setup and ensure repeatable alignment. This combination of strong clamping, precise positioning, and adaptable jaw configurations helps you reduce downtime, improve part-to-part consistency, and handle a wide range of parts with confidence.
