Description

The OSG Carbide Spotting & Chamfering Drill is a precision tool designed for accurate hole starts and clean chamfers. Crafted from micro-grain carbide and offered in a 3mm diameter, this uncoated bit delivers stable, repeatable results for a wide range of materials and applications.

Its 90° chamfer geometry helps create crisp, uniform edges right from the cut, reducing deburring and finishing time. Built for professionals and hobbyists alike, the drill combines long tool life with reliable performance in repetitive spotting and chamfering tasks.

  • 90° Chamfer Geometry: Delivers crisp, uniform edges and accurate chamfers at the start of the hole, improving alignment and reducing post-cut finishing.
  • Durable Micro-Grain Carbide: Provides long tool life and excellent wear resistance, maintaining sharpness through frequent spotting and chamfering operations.
  • Uncoated, Versatile Construction: Offers predictable cutting action and broad material compatibility, suitable for dry machining and common coolants, simplifying setup and inventory.

This combination of precise geometry, tough carbide, and practical uncoated design helps you start holes confidently, finish edges cleanly, and complete tasks faster with fewer touch-ups. Whether in a busy shop or a DIY workspace, you can rely on consistent performance and reduced downtime across multiple projects.
