Description

The OSG Carbide Spotting & Chamfering Drill is a precision tool designed to create accurate starting points for holes and clean chamfers in a single operation. Crafted from micro-grain carbide and uncoated, this 90° drill is ideal for reliable spotting and chamfering across a variety of materials, with a 4 mm diameter that fits common applications. Its durable edge and crisp geometry help you achieve consistent results from the first pass.

  • Micro-grain carbide durability: Built from micro-grain carbide for exceptional edge retention and long tool life, so you can rely on repeatable spotting and chamfering across many holes and parts.
  • Precise 90° chamfer angle: Delivers clean, consistent chamfers and a sharp starting point that improves hole quality and reduces the need for post-processing.
  • Uncoated, 4 mm diameter: Uncoated design offers versatile performance with standard workholding and guides, and the 4 mm size fits common hole and chamfering applications for quick, straightforward setup.

This combination helps you speed up setup, improve hole quality, reduce rework, and deliver professional finishes. The OSG carbide spotting & chamfering drill supports efficient workflows, minimizes downtime from tool wear, and provides dependable performance across demanding machining tasks—whether in engineering shops, fabrication bays, or hobbyist workshops.
