Description

The OSG Carbide Spotting & Chamfering Drill is built from premium micro-grain carbide and is left uncoated, delivering a precise 142° chamfer for spot drilling and edge finishing. With a 10 mm diameter, it’s designed for professionals and hobbyists who need reliable chamfering and accurate start holes across a variety of materials.

Designed to handle demanding materials, the micro-grain carbide construction offers exceptional durability and long tool life. The 142° chamfer angle provides an obtuse edge that reduces burrs and improves edge quality, while the uncoated surface supports predictable cutting performance and straightforward maintenance.

  • Precise 142° chamfer edge: Delivers clean, consistent chamfers and guides subsequent drilling with minimal burrs.
  • Micro-grain carbide durability: Withstands demanding machining, extending tool life across metals and plastics.
  • Uncoated, reliable performance: Coat-free construction offers predictable cutting action and easy maintenance for a wide range of materials.

By combining spotting and chamfering into a single operation, this drill helps you establish accurate center starts and clean, repeatable chamfers faster, reducing cycle times and rework. Its durable micro-grain carbide delivers long service life and dependable performance you can trust in everyday machining tasks, from production runs to precise setup work.
