Description

The OSG Carbide Spotting & Chamfering Drill is a precision tool designed for machining professionals who need dependable hole spotting and accurate chamfering in a single operation. With a 20 mm diameter and a 142° chamfer angle, it delivers clean, repeatable chamfers across a range of materials, helping parts fit and assemble more reliably.

Constructed from premium micro-grain carbide and left uncoated, this drill balances durability with straightforward use. The obtuse 142° chamfer angle supports reliable edge formation on challenging materials, reducing finishing steps and ensuring consistent results in demanding applications.

  • Precise 142° Chamfer Angle: Delivers clean, accurate obtuse chamfers with repeatable results across multiple materials, reducing finishing steps and ensuring proper part fit.
  • Micro-Grain Carbide for Durability: Hard-wearing construction provides long tool life and reliable performance even under tough chamfering tasks.
  • Uncoated Design for Versatility: Simple, coating-free construction offers predictable wear and broad compatibility with a range of materials and setups.

By using this drill, you gain a single-setup solution that starts holes and forms precise chamfers in one pass, improving workflow and reducing finishing steps. The micro-grain carbide delivers long tool life for tougher materials, lowering replacement costs, while the uncoated design keeps the tool simple to inspect and use across a broad range of applications. Ideal for professional shops and hands-on operators alike, it delivers consistent results you can rely on.
