Magafor Reamer - Spiral Flute - Straight Shank - HSS-E - 1.98mm

Magafor Reamer — Spiral Flute, Straight Shank, HSS-E (M35 Cob), 1.98 mm diameter. This intermediate-precision reamer is engineered to finish drilled holes with a precise, consistent final size and a smooth surface on a range of workpieces.

The tool features a straight shank for dependable alignment in standard chucks and collets, and a left-hand spiral flute with right-hand cutting to deliver efficient cutting action and effective chip evacuation during finishing. It complies with DIN 212-B tolerance: D = 0 + 0.003 mm.

• DIN 212-B tolerance for consistent hole size: D = 0 + 0.003 mm ensures repeatable final diameters, reducing guesswork in parts fit and finishing steps.
• HSS-E (M35 Cob) for extended tool life: The cobalt-infused high-speed steel offers improved hardness and wear resistance for longer performance between sharpenings.
• Left-hand spiral flute with straight shank for smooth cutting: Left-hand flutes support efficient chip evacuation and a stable cut, while the straight shank provides rigid, predictable alignment in common holders.

Using this reamer helps you achieve precise hole sizing on the first pass, minimizes rework, and improves overall finish quality. It’s a reliable choice for engineers, technicians, and hobbyists who demand consistent results and straightforward tooling in everyday manufacturing and repair tasks.
