Description

BaerCoil M20 x 2.0 thread inserts are precision-engineered stainless steel fasteners designed to reinforce metric threads in demanding metal assemblies. Crafted from austenitic chromium-nickel steel (AISI 304) with a minimum tensile strength of 1400 N/mm², they deliver dependable, wear-resistant performance in challenging environments.

  • Material & strength: Austenitic stainless steel AISI 304 with tensile strength of at least 1400 N/mm² for durable, long-lasting threads.
  • Cross-section: Rhombic profile created by cold-form swaging to maximize thread contact and efficient use of space inside the hole.
  • Size & depth: Metric thread M20 x 2.0 with installation depth of 2.5 × D, designed for precise, repeatable assemblies.
  • Wear & abrasion resistance: Engineered to improve wear resistance and reduce thread abrasion compared with standard single-screw connections.
  • Corrosion & heat resistance: Enhanced resistance to corrosion and heat, extending performance in harsh or high-temperature environments.
  • Manufacturing precision: Consistent geometry from a controlled swaging process ensures reliable, repeatable performance across parts.

BaerCoil thread inserts provide durable, reliable threading for metal components, distributing load over a larger area and helping to prevent thread stripping in high-load or vibrating applications. They are well-suited for use in machinery housings, structural frames, and other metric M20 x 2.0 assemblies where long-term reliability and robust surface finish matter. The rhombic, cold-formed design supports smooth screw seating and consistent torque transfer, while stainless steel construction offers lasting protection in challenging conditions.

  • Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
  • DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
  • Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
  • DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
