Description
The BAER HSSG 90° Countersink is a precision tool designed to deburr holes and create accurate tapered offsets in metalwork. Its 90° geometry delivers clean, reliable chamfers, helping improve fit and surface finish across a wide range of projects. This countersink is well-suited for engineers, tradespeople, hobbyists, and workshop professionals who demand consistent results.
A hole in metal should always be deburred with a countersink, as the edges of the bore are very sharp. Deburring with this tool helps prevent cutting injuries and contributes to a flat surface. If the screw is to be countersunk into the workpiece, the hole is pre-machined with a countersink, and then drilled conically to allow the countersunk screw head to sit flush with the surface.
