The Dormer Pramet A101 2.40 mm HSS Straight Shank Left-Hand Jobber Drill is a compact, general‑purpose drill designed for metalworking across common materials. Its DIN 338 straight shank ensures reliable seating in standard chucks and fixtures, while premium high-speed steel delivers durable performance for extended tool life.
With a 118-degree conventional point for self-centering starts and a bright finish that helps prevent workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge, this drill is built to handle steel, aluminium, and stainless steel. The left-hand spiral flute is optimized for spindles that rotate counter-clockwise, improving chip evacuation and cutting stability in CCW setups.
