Dormer Pramet A147 2.60 mm HSS E JOBBER DRILL DIN 338

The Dormer Pramet A147 2.60 mm HSS E Jobber Drill (DIN 338) is a precision drilling tool designed for metalworking tasks across professional shops and hobbyist setups. With a compact 2.60 mm diameter, it excels in small-hole work and pairs with standard chucks for both handheld and machine-driven drilling.

Its design emphasizes clean starts and reliable performance: a 130° split point helps self-center the hole and reduces the push force required to begin cutting, while a bright finish minimizes material buildup on the cutting edge. The drill features a robust core design that enables deeper drilling than conventional jobber-length drills, and it uses Premium HSS-E material capable of drilling a range of metals, including steel, aluminium, and stainless steel. This combination makes the A147 a versatile choice for varied applications.

• 130° split point for self-centering and easier starts: Guides the drill into place, reduces wandering, and lowers the effort needed to begin cutting for quicker, more accurate holes.
• Bright finish reduces material sticking: Keeps the cutting edge cleaner during drilling, improving chip flow and helping maintain a smooth cutting action.
• Robust core design for deeper drilling: Provides the rigidity and strength to drill deeper than many standard jobber-length drills, expanding its usefulness in deep-hole tasks.

In everyday use, this drill delivers consistent results across common metals and works seamlessly in both handheld and machine setups. It supports efficient workflows by enabling precise starts, minimizing tool chatter, and handling a variety of materials with a single, reliable tool.
