Description
The Dormer Pramet A225 centre drill is a dual‑ended, 1/4 inch diameter by 5/8 inch lengthHigh‑Speed Steel (HSS) tool designed to create clean centre holes in shafts for secure holding during machining. It combines a 120-degree pilot with a 60-degree center cone to accurately locate and start the hole, delivering reliable centering from the first cut.
Its bright finish minimizes sticking of workpiece material to the cutting edge, helping maintain smooth cutting action and reducing downtime. The double-ended design provides two usable drilling ends, delivering greater productivity and economy. Made from premium HSS, this centre drill is versatile enough to drill a wide range of materials, including steel, aluminium, and stainless steel, and is suitable for use in both CNC and conventional machines.
