This drill is crafted from premium HSS-E and finished with bronze oxide to help prevent material from sticking to the cutting edge, promoting smoother drilling and longer edge life. The Lip and Spur point provides self-centering guidance, making it easier to start cuts on spot-welded areas, while the short flute length offers added strength and control in handheld applications.
