Dormer Pramet R453 L CARBIDE TIALN FORCE-X STEPPED SHANK COOLANT FEED STANDARD SERIES (X5D) DRILL DIN 6537 L

Designed for professionals and serious hobbyists, this carbide drill delivers reliable, repeatable holes across a range of metals. It features a 140° four-facet split point for easy starts and self-centering, plus a TiAlN coating that extends tool life and improves performance on harder materials. The FORCE-X stepped shank with coolant feed ensures stable alignment and effective cooling when drilling steel, aluminum, and stainless steel (DIN 6537 L).

• 140° 4‑Facet Split Point for Easy Start and Self-Centering: Minimizes wandering and reduces push force at entry, helping you achieve clean, accurate holes on the first pass.
• TiAlN Coating for Longer Tool Life: Significantly increases wear resistance, enabling higher cutting speeds and longer service life when drilling tougher materials.
• CTW Flute Design with Coolant Feed: Provides greater strength and chip evacuation, allowing higher speeds and feeds without sacrificing hole quality or drill durability.

This drill is built to keep production moving with consistent results. Its premium carbide core, combined with a TiAlN coating and optimized flute geometry, supports high-accuracy holes (h9 tolerances) while standing up to demanding drilling tasks across steels, aluminum, and stainless steels. The DIN 6537 L shank and integrated coolant delivery make it a reliable choice for workshops and job sites that demand speed, precision, and reduced downtime.
