The Carmex Spiral Mill Threading Insert – BSPT (H17-14BSPTMT7) is a spiral threading and milling insert system designed for reliable performance across a wide range of machines. Its spiral geometry enables smooth cutting at higher feed rates, helping reduce machining time without sacrificing accuracy.
It suits a broad spectrum of applications—from machining small components on compact centers to heavy-duty work on high-power milling machines. Spiral fluted toolholders hold 1 to 9 inserts in a comparatively small cutting diameter, and the unique clamping method enables optimal indexability for consistent results.

- Compact, Indexable Insert System: Spiral fluted toolholders accommodate 1–9 inserts in a small diameter, with a unique clamping method that ensures reliable, repeatable index positioning.
- MT7 TiN-Coated Inserts for All Materials: Inserts are MT7 Sub-Micron Grade with Titanium Nitride multi-layer coating (ISO K10–K20). This general-purpose grade works with all materials and helps achieve a high-grade finish across threading, end milling, roughing, and finishing.
