Description
The Carmex Spiral Mill Threading Insert for NPTF threads is a spiral-fluted cutting tool designed to deliver fast, smooth threading with high feed rates. It’s built to handle a wide range of applications—from precision work on small components in compact machining centers to heavy-duty cutting in high-powered milling machines.
- 1–9 inserts in a compact cutting diameter: Spiral fluted toolholders hold 1 to 9 inserts in a comparatively small cutting diameter, enabling quick index changes and efficient chip control.
- Optimal indexability with a unique clamping method: The innovative clamping design ensures precise, repeatable insert positioning, reducing setup time and improving consistency.
- MT7 TiN-coated inserts for universal materials: Inserts are available in MT7 Sub-Micron Grade with Titanium Nitride multi-layer coating (ISO K10-K20), a general-purpose grade that performs well across materials and delivers a high-grade finish in threading, end milling roughing and finishing.
This combination of a spiral cutting approach, flexible insert capacity, and a durable coating provides reliable, repeatable performance across a wide spectrum of jobs. - Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
