The ITP Disc Styli stainless steel Prob Ball (M5 Thread x 60mm Ball Diameter, Type N) is a precision spherical disc probe designed to tackle measurements inside large bores and undercuts with clarity and reliability.
- Material: Stainless steel construction for durability and stable measurements.
- Thread size: M5, enabling secure attachment to compatible probe heads.
- Ball diameter: 60 mm, optimized for accessing large internal features.
- Configuration: Type N spherical disc stylus, specialized for internal diameter probing and embedded undercuts.
- Application: Ideal for measuring large inside diameters and features with undercuts where traditional disks struggle.
- Direction guidance: Normal disks are not suitable for probing in the Z direction (except discs with radius end rollers), making this Type N disc a practical choice for specific measurement paths.
This disc stylus supports accurate readings in CMM and inspection workflows by reaching into deep pockets and complex cavities while maintaining reliable contact geometry. The stainless steel body resists wear, helping preserve calibration over time. For repeatable setups, ensure a secure M5 threaded mount and apply gentle, precise contact to minimize deflection. Particularly suitable for bore verification and undercut geometries in metallic components.

- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
