Description
The Widin Live Centre is a heavy-lathe live center designed to stabilize demanding turning work. Carbide-tipped and nut-type, it minimizes bite interference for smoother cuts and reliable performance. Its sealed housing protects against cutting oils and contaminants, while upgraded bearings boost durability and life. Morse Tapers are available, with No. 3 size as a common option.
- Carbide-tipped for longer life: The carbide tip stays sharper longer, reduces bite interference during turning, and helps you achieve cleaner cuts and fewer tool changes on tough materials.
- Sealed housing for oil and debris protection: The sealed design prevents cutting oils and foreign substances from entering the center, lowering maintenance and extending service life in demanding environments.
- High-precision triplex bearing and hardened shaft: A triplex bearing structure paired with a shaft hardened to 58–62 HRC delivers exceptional rigidity and ultra-low runout (0.00012" / 0.003 mm) for repeatable, accurate results.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
