Description
The Widin Live Centre is a heavy-lathe accessory engineered for precision turning. Carbide-tipped and designed as a Nut Type NCPC unit, it minimizes bite interference for smoother starts and longer tool life. It’s compatible with Morse tapers No. 3 and No. 6, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of lathes and applications.
- Carbide tip with bite interference control: The carbide tip stays sharper longer and reduces bite-related chatter, delivering cleaner starts, better surface finish, and more consistent cutting under heavy loads.
- Sealed NCPC Nut Type with triplex bearings: Sealed to prevent the inflow of cutting oils and contaminants, while the triplex bearing structure enhances stiffness, durability, and smooth rotation for reliable performance over time.
- Exceptional precision and hardened durability: A hardened shaft rated at 58–62 HRC and runout of 0.00012" (0.003 mm) deliver repeatable accuracy, even on long runs, with mounting options for Morse No. 3 and No. 6 taps.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
