Description
The Widin Live Centre is a heavy-lathe, carbide-tipped live center designed to deliver reliable center support in demanding turning tasks. Built as a nut-type NCPC design in No. 6 size, it provides robust seating and consistent performance for professional shops, engineers, and hobbyists alike. Its carbide tip minimizes bite interference, helping you achieve smoother starts and cleaner finishes even on tougher materials.
- Carbide-tipped for extended life: The carbide tip reduces bite interference and wears more slowly under heavy cutting, delivering consistent support and fewer interruptions in production runs.
- Sealed NCPC nut-type design with No. 3/No. 6 Morse taps: Sealing protects against cutting oils and debris, while the NCPC nut-type construction keeps the center secure and maintenance-friendly in a variety of machine setups.
- Triplex bearing system for precision and durability: Upgraded bearings and a triplex structure deliver high rotational accuracy and long service life, with shaft hardness 58–62 HRC and a tight runout of 0.00012" (0.003 mm).
This live centre is engineered to improve workflow by delivering stable, low-deflection support at speed, reducing rework and finish imperfections. With versatile Morse-taper options, sealed operation, and reinforced bearings, it offers dependable performance across heavy-lathet applications, helping you complete more work with fewer interruptions and greater confidence.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
