Description
The Widin Live Centre is a high-speed, carbide-tipped live center (SMBC Type, Morse taper No. 3) designed to support turning operations with minimal bite interference. It’s built for reliability at high RPM and is available with Morse tapers No. 3 and No. 5 to fit a wide range of lathes.
- Carbide-Tipped for Longevity: The durable carbide tip resists wear and minimizes bite interference, helping extend tool life and keep workpieces centered for cleaner cuts.
- High-Speed Bearings for Stable Rotation: Special bearings are engineered for high RPMs, delivering smooth, steady rotation with reduced vibration during demanding turning tasks.
- Ultra-Low Runout for Precision: Achieves runout as low as 0.00012 inches (0.003 mm), preserving tight tolerances, improving surface finish, and reducing chatter.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
