The Widin Live Centre is a high-speed, carbide-tipped live center designed for precision turning and long life. Its nut-type SMPBCN design minimizes bite interference, delivering smooth starts and stable rotation for demanding machining tasks. Configured for Morse Taper No. 3, it offers quick mounting and reliable centering in busy shop environments.
With specially engineered bearings optimized for high-speed rotation and a low runout specification, this center maintains true alignment under load, helping you achieve consistent finishes and reduce rework. The design emphasizes durability and long service life, making it a dependable choice for continuous turning operations.
- Carbide-Tipped for Minimal Bite Interference: The carbide contact point provides a durable, precise seating that reduces bite-related disturbances, enabling smoother starts and truer centering on long workpieces.
- High-Speed Bearings for Durability: Special bearings are engineered for rapid rotation, delivering reliable performance at speed and longer life versus standard centers, even under demanding cycles. Runout can be as low as 0.00012" (0.003 mm).
- No.3 Morse-Taper (SMPBCN) Compatibility: Easy, secure mounting with a No.3 Morse taper and SMPBCN nut-type head for quick setup and consistent alignment across a range of lathes.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
