Description
The Widin Live Centre is a carbide-tipped live center designed for high-speed turning and extended service life. It provides dependable support for rotating workpieces, helping you maintain accuracy and finish quality even at demanding speeds.
Designed for Morse taper installations, this SMP-type live center is available in No. 3 and No. 5 options. It uses upgraded bearings engineered for high-speed rotation, delivering greater durability and longer life than standard centers. It also features an exceptionally tight runout of 0.00012" (0.003 mm) to keep parts concentric and machining consistent.
- Carbide-tipped tip for longer life: The carbide point resists wear at high speeds, preserving accuracy and extending the life of the center and tooling.
- Ultra-low runout for precise results: Achieves runout as tight as 0.00012" (0.003 mm), helping parts stay concentric and reducing rework or scrap during high-speed operations.
- Morse taper compatibility with upgraded bearings: Available in No. 3 and No. 5 Morse taps and built with SMP-type bearings for smoother rotation and longer life than standard SM centers.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
