Description
Widin Live Centre is a high-speed rotational live center featuring a carbide-tipped tip and a nut-type design. This No.4 SMBCN live center minimizes bite interference to provide smoother starts and more consistent cuts. It is available with Morse tapers No.3 and No.5, broadening compatibility with a range of machines.
Built for demanding turning tasks, it uses special bearings to sustain smooth rotation at high speeds and delivers a tight runout spec of 0.00012 inches (0.003 mm). This combination supports repeatable results and longer, maintenance-friendly service life.
- Carbide-tipped design: Delivers superior wear resistance and keeps tip geometry consistent for longer tool life and reliable accuracy during heavy cuts.
- Minimizes bite interference: Reduces bite during startup and cutting, enabling cleaner finishes, less chatter, and faster overall throughput.
- Ultra-low runout at high speed: High-speed bearings sustain smooth rotation with runout as low as 0.00012" (0.003 mm), while Morse tapers No.3 and No.5 widen machine compatibility.
This setup provides dependable, repeatable results in a compact package. The combination of carbide tips, low bite interference, and ultra-tight runout helps improve surface finish, reduce rework, and speed up setup for everyday machining tasks.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
