Widin Live Centre is a high-speed rotational live center with a carbide-tipped point, designed for precision turning on lathes. This SMPBC Type No.4 model combines fast, smooth rotation with long life and minimizes bite interference for cleaner starts and finishes. It supports Morse Tapers No.3 and No.5, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of machines and setups.
Whether you’re an engineer, a shop technician, a hobbyist, or a contractor, this live center delivers reliable performance at speed. The upgraded bearings are engineered for durability and longevity, helping you stay productive with less downtime even in demanding turning applications.
- Low run-out at high speeds: Extremely precise centering thanks to special high-speed bearings, with run-out as low as 0.00012" (0.003 mm) to ensure repeatable accuracy and minimal vibration during heavy or long-duration cuts.
- Carbide-tipped for long life: carbide contact points provide superior wear resistance, delivering longer service life and reduced maintenance compared with standard tips.
- Morse taper compatibility (No. 3 & No. 5) with bite interference minimization: designed for common Morse tapers, offering stable support and reduced bite interference for smoother starts and better surface finishes.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
