Widin's SMPN No.4 Nut-Type Live Centre is built for high-speed turning with a focus on long service life. The nut-type design enables quick, secure seating to minimize setup time between parts.
Featuring Morse tapers No. 3 and No. 5, this live centre offers flexible mounting across a wide range of lathes. Upgraded bearings are engineered for high-speed rotation, delivering enhanced durability and a longer life than standard SM-type centers—so you can run at higher speeds with confidence and fewer replacements.
- Ultra-low runout for precise centering: Achieves runout as low as 0.00012" (0.003 mm), helping maintain true concentricity, better surface finish, and fewer rework passes at speed.
- Upgraded bearings for high-speed durability: Special bearings designed for sustained high-speed rotation provide longer life and more reliable performance than traditional SM-type centers.
- Morse taper versatility with No.3 and No.5 options: No.4 nut-type live center fits a range of machines and allows quick setup on lathes that use Morse tapers No.3 or No.5, offering flexible compatibility without compromising stability.

Do you offer Free Next Day delivery?
Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
