The Widin Live Centre is a high-speed, carbide-tipped live center designed to provide stable support during precision turning. Built for engineers, machinists, tradespeople, hobbyists, and DIY enthusiasts, it helps maintain true rotation at high RPMs and delivers clean finishes on demanding materials. This No.5 Morse-taper, SMC-type live center is ready for quick, secure mounting on compatible lathes.
With specially engineered bearings optimized for high-speed rotation, it achieves exceptionally tight runout to keep the workpiece centered during demanding cuts.
- Ultra-low runout at high speed: Achieves runout as low as 0.00012" (0.003 mm) to maintain true rotation, reduce chatter, and improve surface finish on challenging materials.
- Carbide-tipped for durability: Hardened carbide tip delivers long life and consistent point geometry, supporting accurate centering through extended, high-speed runs.
- No.5 Morse taper with rigid SMC body: Designed for No.5 Morse-taper spindles with a sturdy SMC-type housing for secure mounting, quick setup, and repeatable alignment across jobs.

- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
