Widin Live Centre is a high-speed rotational live center designed to support rotating workpieces with exceptional stability and long service life. Built for engineers, machinists, hobbyists, and shop technicians, it delivers reliable performance at high RPMs while minimizing bite interference, helping you maintain tight tolerances and smooth finishes.
This SMPB Type No.5 live center is offered with Morse tapers for compatibility with a wide range of lathes (No. 3 and No. 5 options available). It uses upgraded, high-speed bearings that deliver superior durability and longer life compared with standard SM-type centers, and it boasts an ultra-low runout of 0.00012 inches (0.003 mm) for precise, repeatable results.
- Ultra-low runout: Delivers 0.00012" (0.003 mm) runout for true concentricity, reducing vibration and improving hole finish and diameter tolerance across a wide range of shaft and pin applications.
- Upgraded high-speed bearings: Specially designed bearings withstand higher rotation speeds, delivering longer life and lower maintenance than typical SM-type centers, so you spend less time servicing and more time turning.
- Minimized bite interference: Engineered to reduce bite effects during starts and heavy cuts, producing calmer operation, cleaner surface finishes, and greater stability on delicate or tight-tolerance workpieces.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
