Description

Widin Live Centre is a heavy-duty lathe live center with a carbide tip designed to minimize bite interference and ensure reliable centering during demanding turning tasks. Compatible with Morse Tapers No.3 or No.6 and built with taper-roller bearings, it delivers longer life and smooth operation, while a sealing design protects against cutting oils and contaminants.

  • Carbide-tipped for extended life: The carbide tip resists wear, delivering consistent centering and longer service life in tough materials and high-speed turning.
  • Sealed to protect against oils and contaminants: A robust seal blocks cutting oils and foreign substances from entering the bearing area, reducing maintenance and preserving accuracy.
  • No. 3 and No. 6 Morse taper options: Available with Morse Tapers No.3 or No.6 for flexible mounting and broad compatibility with standard lathes.

This live center combines durable construction with precise engineering to improve workflow: it minimizes bite interference for steadier engagement, offers ultra-low runout of 0.00012 inches (0.003 mm), and features a hardened shaft in the 58–62 HRc range with taper-roller bearings for lasting reliability across production runs and precision projects.
