Description
Widin Live Centre is a heavy‑duty, carbide‑tipped live center designed for NKC type mounting on lathes. It’s built to handle demanding turning tasks and is compatible with Morse tapers No. 3 and No. 6, making it a versatile choice for shops, technicians, and hobbyists alike.
The construction prioritizes durability and reliable performance. The carbide tip delivers long wear life for consistent support, while the sealed design protects against cutting oils and contaminants, reducing maintenance and downtime so you can keep working longer between service intervals.
- Carbide-tipped for long life: Hardened wear resistance of the carbide nose maintains stable support and finish under heavy use.
- Sealed against oils and contaminants: Seals keep cutting fluids and foreign matter out of the center, extending life and reducing cleaning and maintenance.
- Ultra-precise, rigid drive: Shaft hardened to 58–62 HRC with taper roller bearings delivers minimal runout (0.00012" / 0.003 mm) for repeatable accuracy; compatible with NKC Type No. 6 and Morse tapers No. 3 and No. 6.
This combination of toughness, precision, and versatility helps improve finishing quality, shorten setup and changeover times, and deliver dependable results across a range of turning applications.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
