Description
The Widin Live Centre is a heavy‑duty carbide‑tipped live center designed for lathes with demanding weight and stability requirements. This NKC Type No.5 model provides dependable central support for precision turning, combining a durable carbide tip with a sealed design to resist cutting oils and contaminants between maintenance cycles.
Morse tapers are available No.3 to No.6, giving you flexible mounting options to fit a wide range of machine spindles. Built with taper roller bearings, the center delivers longer life under heavy use, while the hardened shaft (58–62 HRC) maintains accuracy and resist wear. Expect exceptional runout performance, with 0.00012" (0.003 mm) total indicated runout for consistent, high‑quality finishes.
- Carbide tipped for extended life: The carbide tip provides superior wear resistance in tough turning applications, reducing tool changes and downtime.
- Sealed to protect against oil and contaminants: Sealing helps keep cutting oils and foreign substances out of the bearing area, preserving performance and longevity.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
