The Widin Live Centre – Half Tipped Dead Centre, LM-H Type, No.5 is a precision lathe center designed to support long workpieces with minimal bite and superior runout control. Built for machinists, engineers, buyers, and hobbyists alike, it delivers stable, concentric turning with reduced chatter. This half-tipped design combines reliability with broad Morse-taper compatibility to suit a wide range of lathes.
- Minimized bite interference: The half-tipped geometry reduces biting into the workpiece, delivering smoother starts, fewer tool marks, and cleaner surface finishes on slender or delicate parts.
- Ultra-low runout: Precise rotation with runout as low as 0.00012" to 0.0002" (0.003–0.005 mm) helps maintain tight tolerances and reduces scrap and rework.
- Morse taper versatility: Available in No. 1 through No. 7 Morse tapers, enabling quick, secure mounting on a wide range of lathes for the No.5 LM-H configuration.

Do you offer Free Next Day delivery?
Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
