The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a compact solid carbide boring bar designed for micro-machining. With a minimum diameter of 1.2 mm and a 7 mm reach, it excels at creating precise internal features in small-diameter parts. It’s ideal for engineers, machinists, and hobbyists who work in tight spaces and need dependable results in boring and fine turning.
As part of Carmex’s dedicated carbide tool line, this tiny bar supports two coating grades to match your material and speed needs. Choose BXC TiN-coated grade for low-speed cutting on stainless steels (ISO ranges P30–P50 / K25–K40), or use the BMK sub-micron grade with advanced PVD triple coating for high heat resistance and smooth cutting (ISO K10–K20). Available in MTL - K20 grade, it’s designed for demanding tasks while remaining versatile enough for general-purpose boring and turning across a broad materials range.
