Description
Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a solid carbide boring bar designed for precision small-diameter machining. Primarily built for boring but also suitable for general turning, it delivers reliable starts in confined bores with a 3.1 mm minimum diameter, 10 mm reach, and an R0.2 left-hand nose. This model uses a K20-grade carbide for strength and durability.
Coatings and grades offered cover common workpiece materials: BXC is a PVD TiN-coated grade optimized for low cutting speeds and compatibility with a wide range of stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40); BMK is a sub-micron grade with an advanced PVD triple coating, delivering extremely high heat resistance and a smooth cutting action—general purpose for all materials.
- PVD TiN-coated BXC grade for low-speed cutting: Optimized for extended life and smoother cuts on stainless steels, particularly at ISO P30-P50 and K25-K40 workpieces.
- BMK sub-micron grade with triple PVD coating: Delivers extremely high heat resistance and a consistently smooth cutting action across a wide range of materials.
- Compact geometry: 3.1 mm minimum diameter, 10 mm reach, R0.2 left-hand: Fits tight bores and facilitates accurate entry, reducing setup time and tool changes.
