The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a compact solid carbide boring bar designed for precise internal work and small-diameter turning. With a 7.1 mm minimum diameter, a 30 mm reach, and a precise R0.2 corner radius, this tool delivers clean, accurate cuts in confined bores. It is part of a dual-grade coating family—BXC TiN-coated for low-speed cutting on stainless steels and BMK sub-micron grade with a triple PVD coating for high-heat performance. The left-hand version is tailored for common boring setups, helping you maintain consistent chip control and reliable results.
- Coating options engineered for different materials: Choose between BXC TiN for low cutting speeds on a wide range of stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40) or BMK with a sub-micron grade and triple PVD coating for excellent heat resistance and smooth cutting (ISO K10-K20). This selection lets you maximize tool life and predictable results across varying jobs.
- Small-diameter, deep-reach borings: The 7.1 mm minimum diameter with a 30 mm reach enables you to access deep internal features and tight bores without sacrificing rigidity, delivering accurate profiles and minimized deflection in challenging workpieces.
